Boom, great find. We where in town buying something off Craigslist. We brought our dog and where looking for some place that was dog friendly. They have some covered tables outside. The review that said this place is chipotle on crack, was pretty accurate. It's the same idea just with way better fixins. We wound up ordering lobster roll with a side of Mac and cheese and a chicken chili soup. A where excellent. If this place was close I would come here once a week. Someone ordered the ahi tuna on butter lettuce. It looked awesome. Staff was super nice and place was clean. Worth a try for sure.

Vegetarian Friendly, a rarity in this area. But great for the carnivores like my wife. Second location in Vero for Chive. we have been here 5 times in the last month. You can choose from Salads, Wraps, Tacos, PO Boy, or at Beans and Rice Bowl. Add your addition, Slow Roasted Pork, Marinated Chicken Breast, Maine Lobster, Wild Caught Shrimp, Grilled Mahi Mahi, Seared Ahi Tuna, Flank Steak, Fresh Mozzarella, or my favorite ( bering a vegetarian) Mixed Grilled Seasonal Vegetables. Then add nay of their toppings and sauces. There are also Philly Cheese Steak and Lobster Rolls. Always at least 2 soups. An excellent selection of beer and wine at reasonable prices. Love the micro brews. Average for dinner for two w/o beer or wine about $24-27 depending upon any sides or soda you may add. Located on scenic Royal Palm Pointe in Vero Beach, and the other location on Old Dixie Highway. Have been to both and will continue to keep coming.

We were looking for good food at a reasonable price and found it at Chive. Not much open on a Sunday night but found this place was open to 8pm. We both opted for the lobster in a burrito. With all the combinations it was hard to decide what would keep the lobster as the primary flavor. Opted to keep it simple with cilantro, lime and a little chipotle lime mayo. Very tasty with 2 ice cream scoops of lobster salad. My wife got broccoli salad as a side. Fresh and tasty. I opted for the seafood soup with mahi-mahi and shrimp. Very flavorful and could be a meal choice by itself. We met the owner Lou who takes real pride in his food and service. Lots of bottled beer and wine choices. Highly recommend for a quality meal at a reasonable price.

This is one of my very favorite places in town!! I can't eat at a lot of places, since I'm working on improving my health through an all natural diet. At Chive I get fresh, totally natural foods that I get to put together myself to suit my needs. And best of all, their food tastes great!! There are so many different ingredients you can incorporate, that anyone can make a meal they'd love! The staff is super friendly and considerate, and I also appreciate their attention to details like cleanliness. Chive often has new yummy specials, and the prices are quite reasonable.Try their seared yellow fin tuna (so fresh!!) on a salad with lots of toppings (my favorite!). My mother loves the lobster salad which has huge chunks of fresh lobster and just a little mayo. Also keep an eye out for the clam chowder special! Yum!

Finally I've made it to this place! It's so fresh and delicious, by far the most unique place for lunch especially sitting outside in the sun. Some people compared to Chipotle simply because you get a selection of items you get to choose from. But it is 100 times better and fresher! The protein selection is outstanding: grilled chicken, flank steak, lobster salad and sashimi tuna!( That's just some of them). They have delicious homemade soup & chowders, like the lobster bisque! You can choose from a burrito, tacos, a wrap or a salad! It is a little intimidating at first understanding the menu but the staff are so friendly and willing to help you. Variety is the spice of life, and Chive definitely delivers for it!! Hope you enjoy!

I had a double portion of lobster on my lobstah roll and it was worth every penny! Everything is freshly made daily. On a usual 75F winter day in Vero, come here and sit out front on the veranda.

I've been here several times now and will continue to eat here! The best thing this restaurant has going for it is variety. You can choose from a variety of proteins, vegetables, and sauces, served in a variety of ways to craft your own dish. They also have the best lobster roll in Vero Beach! The food is always fresh and I haven't been disappointed yet. It is a great place to take friends or associates - something for everyone!

A+++! First time in Vero Beach and we were lucky enough to find this little slice of heaven. We gorged on fresh caprese salad, crab cakes, lobster rolls, Mac n cheese, and a chicken burrito. All were incredible. The food and the friendly staff is enough reason to plan a vacation here to Vero next year.

My wife and I had lunch here based on a friends recommendation. We both really enjoyed it. The selections were good and the product fresh. We ate outside and really enjoyed our lunch. We will go back. And we will tell our friends to go.

Great food, made how you want it, as you look at what they have, they prepare it in front of you. Referring to the already made lobster salad. with huge chunks of lobster! Chicken salad, tuna , etc....then you choose to have it either in a wrap, hoagie roll, salad, tacos, nachos...list goes on! Also, have numerous vegetating dishes. Also soups, lobster bisque, etc.. They do have hot dishes made to order, that are more fancy, I believe they bring those to your table, but not sure...since we both got the lobster hoagies with huge chunks of lobster! This is a VERY casual place, so need at all to dress up! You pick out everything you want as you walk around the food & they ask what all you want to add or not. Then you get your soda from the soda fountain, and take your plate & soda it sit where you want. Hope to go back soon!

Everyone else's reviews say it all! Food has super fresh ingredients, lovely array of options, and interesting combinations. The young man behind the counter was great at helping my husband and I through the menu and he knew his stuff, all the ingredients and how everything was made. Tuna nachos were yummy! And the flank steak was great!

This place is like Chipotle on CRACK and at least ten times better!!! Those were the words my friends used to describe Chive when telling me where they wanted to take me to eat. As can be expected, with such a raving review, I was more than a little skeptical. After all, I was being told that the restaurant I was about to east at basically put the mega-franchise chipotle to shame... Walking through the doors, I wasn't blown away by the ambiance, my first impression wasn't leaving me in awe... However, after seeing my ordering options, and taking my first bite, I was left in a happy place of awe and wonder! The only bad thing about Chive, is that it's not found across the country. That's just awful...

Probably the best fast casual eating spot in Vero Beach. You can choose a really healthy salad or rice and beans bowl. OR you can treat yourself to something like a lobster roll or steak burrito. This place has so many options with so many free add-ons. You'll probably order something different every time because they all sound so good. Also, they have beer and wine

This Chive location provides a much larger seating area (both indoor & patio) and parking then the Old Dixie Hwy spot. This one is off IR Blvd & Royal Palm Pointe, close to the north VB bridge. About 10 mins from the beach. Food & drinks are high quality and the prices reflect that. Service was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. Great for lunch and a light dinner.

I decided to try this place because of the high reviews. The rice was defiantly Uncle Ben's it had a particular crispness as if it were undercooked also the rice did not stick each other another indicator of Uncle Ben's. The pulled pork in my meal was not prepared or cleaned properly because I came across many chunks of fat. After eating I understand the restaurants name cause in my meal, there was huge chunks of Raw Red and Yellow Onions also roasted Onions and Chives it was way over powering. And when I got home I sat on the Sofa and could not move for hours cause the heart burn was so bad, that I thought I would Literally Die.

This place is awesome. Great employees, great food options and great flavors. The best way to describe this place would be Chipotle on steroids. You can tell they make a lot of the stuff in-house which, as a restaurant owner, I can say is very impressive. The only thing I was disappointed with was that there was no outside seating in the back along the water! Something you would think they would make happen considering their location is so awesome. I can't wait to go back to vero so I can try more of their combinations!

Used to be awesome...with the "kids" running the show now and the senior leadership absent, place has gone down hill fast. Attention to detail suffering...have had friends and colleagues and myself suffer the following as just a few examples: sponge piece in salad, piece of plastic in wrap, rancid piece of chicken, bad/nasty lettuce (the lettuce freshness was always the best part!?!), food tasting "off". It's too bad, but it happens when management takes their eye off the ball and focuses on expansion instead of the principles that made them great in the first place. Would love to see them get back to where it was when they opened, but it's tough to get customers back once their confidence in the product is rattled.

My husband and enjoyed our meal at chive! The food, service and atmosphere is wonderful!!! We had eaten at the other location, but we are beyond thrilled to have the new larger location. This place was awesome! The number of fresh options is endless. Their are multiple meats and veggies to select from and their staff is beyond knowledgable and friendly. I recommend the flank steak po boy with their Swiss Mac n cheese (killer). Must try for sure!

Absolutely delicious! The smoked fish dip is wonderful. You have to try the macaroni and cheese. My husband actually went back after he finished his meal and got another cup of it because it was that good. I got the chicken wrap with the siraccha mayo sauce, avocado, and fresh salsa. Too die for....my husband got the grilled mahi tacos which were also very tasty (but hard to fit all the ingredients you might want into a taco- wrap is the way to go). The meat is all seasoned very well and is super fresh- they literally give it to you right off the skillet. The owner came up to me and was very friendly which was really really nice. It's a great local place. We highly recommend it!
